Amélie’s Table Runner 20"x45"

This pattern is named after my granddaughter, Amélie, who loves life and is always bringing joy into our lives. After designing the quilt, Le Jardin d'Amélie, I wanted to make a table runner that would be based on the same theme as that of the larger quilt.

I really enjoy adding stitchery (embroidery) to my quilts and this allows the possibility of another dimension in quilting. The pieced star blocks display the contrast in the colour choices.

I made this table runner using the Moda “Rouinneres” fabric line which will be reprinted in January, 2012. However, it can be made in a variety of colours to match your décor.

The finished table runner measures 20" X 45".
